What would you like to see on the next Nissan Z?

I think the 370z's design was pretty bland, sure it looked good, but that's it, it's not the car I'd think of when I'm thinking about sports cars, Nissan should try to make something more radical, the image above is my idea of what the next z should be like. Of course that's like my opinion man, so feel free to disagree. I'd also like to see what you guys would like to see in a newer Nissan Z.

Maybe 300 less pounds. I'd ask for more, but it's unlikely as is. I like the flying buttresses you drew, not common that you'll see those now; but it also seems to eliminate the hatchback.

looks good, but please remember the 370Z has a 3.7, and the 350z had a 3.5
I doubt they'd make a 3.9L v6 for this car...
maybe a 240Z ?

I'd actually like to see something more entry level like an l6 or a turbo l4, something to complete with the brz sti (If they finally put a turbo on it).

This was my opinion, one rainy morning almost two years ago.
Make it clean, light, and fast. And hook those gutter lines around a sweet Z badge like the 240's.

Personally, I'd like to see a high-compression 5 valve per cylinder inline 4 under the hood, but that's unlikely. I did hear they're planning to go back to the original with the next gen, though, so that makes me think.
Also, they might do a forced induction version of the 3.7, thus, via BMW and Mercedes logic, making it a 390Z
If it is a 6, I'd hope for an inline-6, and supercharged, at that!

Nice wheels man, next what i'd recommend is tracing what you've drawn lightly and then correcting what you want then repeat until happy.

Here's what i've been working on; the next SVX.

Co-developed with Toyota - (same deal as with the twins, they get the car for the MR2, Subaru gets the New SVX)

Mid - boxer - engined rear-wheel drive - A poor-mans Cayman lets say. Toyota keeps it NA and later superchargers it - (200HP - 260HP S/C) While Subaru gets to turbo then adds a KERS system mounted in the front driving the front wheels making it AWD and crazy fast and frugal.

Anyways... Make it an I6 with a remembrance of its predecessor. Sleek back curves with the long snout and short end is perfection. Affordable and RELIABLE!
I own one and GOD DAMN they better make it just like how it started.
Nissan did it with IDX and 510.

6 wheels, side exit exhausts and a periscope instead of a rear-view mirror. Somehow I don't think that Nissan's design department will be hiring me any time soon.
